STUDENTS WILL CREATE A PROJECT SIMILAR TO THE EXAMPLE SHOWN BELOW:

CAMTASIA STUDIO BASICS: 

Camtasia Studio is a suite of programs that allow us to record, edit, playback, and produce audio and video. Camtasia Studio is great for training, marketing, demos, etc. In this class we'll learn the basics so we can create professional looking videos where the only limit is our imagination!

PLANNING A CAMTASIA PROJECT: 

The better prepared we are, the more successful our project will be. We will create an outline, write a script, select our graphics, organizing our files into folders, and choose which format to produce our video.

RECORDING A CAMTASIA PROJECT: 

Once we've defined our project, we'll learn about different audio/video settings, how to choose the best ones for our project, and important audio/video recording tips.

EDITING AND ENHANCING A CAMTASIA PROJECT: 

We'll learn how to edit and enhance our audio and video: fade in/fade out narration or music, increase or decrease volume of audio track, shorten or extend audio and video clips. We'll combine audio and video tracks; add graphics, Title slides, Transitions between segments, Callouts with text instructions, PIP (Picture-in-Picture) video, create menus, etc.

PRODUCING A CAMTASIA PROJECT: 

We'll fine tune our project to give it that professional look, then learn about different output options for producing our Camtasia project: CD/DVD, HTML webpage, YouTube, iPod, etc.
